Family & Junior Golf 


The 2010 golf season is just around the corner. Plans for the 14th year of the METCALFE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB 'Kids Play Free' Program in 2010 are being finalized!

Throughout the past 13 seasons 8,500 children have participated in our program, which is sponsored by Flagstick Golf Magazine, Ottawa 67's, Schneiders and Sarah Lee allows children up to the age of 16 to golf for free when they are accompanied by an adult.

Throughout the golf season the ongoing program ran Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 4:00 pm onwards. Tee times, which are highly recommended, were made up to 7 days in advance. Clubs were provided for those children who were new to the game or did not have their own clubs.

Our Kickoff Junior and Family Open House Event will be Sunday, June 6, 2010.

Monday, July 5th is Family Golf & Movie Night. 3 Holes of golf, popcorn, drinks and a movie in the tent for only $12. Kids FREE! Putting begins at 6:45 pm, movie at 8:15 - call the Golf Shop to make your reservation NOW!.

2009 was a great year for Junior Golfers and their families and we look forward to another fun filled year in 2010. We firmly believe that golf is not only a tremendous vehicle to encourage family activity, but also a game which children can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
