Below is the schedule for member events this season. Start times are approximate based on registration. More details including how to register will be posted on this page closer to event dates.
Men’s Intersectional Tryouts – June 4, 10 & 11
Calling all male members to tryout for the Metcalfe GCC Mens Intersectional Team. The team of 12 (10 + 2 alternates) will represent Metcalfe GCC at the host club of Glengarry GCC on July 9. Tryouts are scheduled for June 4, 10,11 with starting tee times respectively at 10:30. The tryout format is the modified Stableford point system with the best 2 of 3 games counting towards making the team. Members must have a valid Golf Canada handicap to compete. Sign up sheet will be located in the men’s locker room. Deadline for sign up is May 27. For additional information, contact our men’s club captain,Sonny Lapointe at rolland.lapointe@sympatico.ca.
Ladies’ Intersectional Tryouts – June 4, 10 & 11
Attention female members. This is a call to tryout for the Metcalfe GCC Women’s Intersectional Team.
The team of 8 (7 + 1 alternate) will represent Metcalfe GCC and be the host club on the day of competition of July 16th. Tryouts are scheduled for June 4, 10,11 with starting tee times respectively at 10:00. The tryout format is modified Stableford point system with the best 2 of 3 games counting towards making the team. Members must have a valid Golf Canada handicap to compete. Sign up sheet will be located in the Ladies locker room. Deadline for sign up is May 27th EOD. For additional information, contact our Ladies Club Captain, Karen Parker at Karen.parker@sympatico.ca.
Ryder Cup – Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th – Registration Now Open
The Ryder Cup is a 2-Day tournament. Teams are made based on valid handicaps and a variety of match play formats are played. The entry fee is $32 per player including a BBQ dinner on Sunday and a small prize for the winning team. Here is the menu:
