2026 CLUB MATCH PLAY
The Team Match Play is two person team event. It is played alternate shot, where each partner is able to place and use their own ball when it is their turn to shoot. Handicap allowances are designed to provide equity for players at all levels of ability.
Basic information:
- Players must have a Golf Canada membership and an established handicap to join
- Players must choose the tee they will play from at the time of registration.
- Full handicaps will be used with a maximum handicap of 36 for men and 40 for women.
- It is a double knockout meaning that after two losses, a team is out of the competition.
- Cost: $40 per team.
Prizes:
- All fees collected are used for prizes
- Prizes are awarded will be awarded at the tombstone event.

- Full handicaps will be used with a maximum handicap of 36 for men and 40 for women.
- It is a double knockout meaning that after two losses, a participant is out of the competition.
- Cost: $25
Prizes:
- All fees collected are used for prizes
- Prizes are awarded at the beginning of October as part of the Tombstone Tournament.

2026 CLUB RINGER BOARD (a.k.a your ultimate scorecard)
Start Date: April 27th, 2026. End Date: September 20th, 2026.
Basic Information:
- Players submit their attested first full score card. From that point on, players submit their full attested scorecard when there is an improved score on any hole(s). The goal is to demonstrate your ultimate game over the course of the playing season but as if it was played in one day!
- Upon registration, you must indicate from which tee box you will be playing from. Only scores from that tee box or further will be accepted.
- Scores may be submitted as of the start date, but registration will be accepted throughout the season. It’s never too late to join.
Since the object is to get the lowest score - Organizers will send out further information with full instructions/rules before the start of the season

Fees:
- An amount of $10 will be charged to your account for the 18-hole course upon registration.
- If more than 10 people are interested in the 9-hole, an amount of $5 will be charged to your account.
Prizes:
- All fees collected are used for prizes.
- Prizes are different for the Men’s and Ladies Ringerboard
- Men’s Ringer Board Prizes
- All ringer scores are kept individually/alphabetically for display purposes but by class for prize distribution.
- Men’s classes defined for competition using Golf Canada index ratings: “A”– 0 to 8.0 / “B1” – 8.1 to 14 / “B2” – 14.1 to 18 / “C” – 18.1+
- For the eighteen, class winners get a ratio of monies collected for their class. Subject to change based upon total entries.
- A 1st place 100%, B1 1st (60%)/2nd(40%) B2 1st 100% and C 1st (60%)/2nd(40%).
- For the nine hole course we distributed the total prize money evenly by the four classes for 1st place winners.
- The more the merrier, challenge your friends to join.
- Ladies Ringer Board Prizes
- Policy update (effective this season): Participants will be assigned to handicap-based levels for the purpose of prize awarding, to promote equitable competition.
- Ringer scores will be recorded and displayed on an individual, alphabetical basis; however, prize results will be determined within each level.
- For the current season, two (2) levels will be used, based on current participation.
- Prize categories: The following prizes will be awarded in each level:
- Best Ringer Score (lowest ringer total within the level)
- Most Improved (greatest improvement within the level, as tracked on the ringer board)
